  MORE FREE DRUM LESSONS HERE Become A Drummer Level 1 - Lesson 2 Playlist In this playlist, you will expand from the  4 core grooves  and play the same sequence of notes as common note values.  These include: Core Sixteenth Note Groove  Core Eighth Note Groove Core Eight Note Triplet Groove In addition, you will add one more kick on any note right before the snare drum for each of the common core grooves.  This adds a powerful punch to the core grooves! Rhythmic Transitions

 Rhythmic Transitions One thing that drummers (and any musician) needs to be able to do well is anticipate and precisely execute differences in rhythmic note values.  More specifically, drummers need to be able to transition between a quarter note pulse, eighth note pulse, sixteenth note pulse, triplets, etc.  The following videos are a good step in training your ability to jump between some different rhythmic note values.
